"There was nowhere to eat. We walked into the hotel restaurant at around 6pm. The restaurant was almost empty, but were told they can’t serve us as we didn’t have a reservation. We asked if we can get room service we weee told no. We asked if we can eat at the outside terrace bar, we were told that was closed. We told staff repeatedly the restaurant next door on the promaenade was no longer serving dinner and we would like to have dinner at the restaurant. We were told we should walk around 10...

The listing mentions that the venue will be playing loud music, but I would’ve expected a bit more effort in soundproofing the rooms. I would not recommend this venue to anyone who doesn’t feel like sleeping one single-glazed window away from unrestrained club bangers until 3am and all the drunken revelries you would expect. "Like myself, not everybody has satnav. The signposting to the Comfort Inn could be improved. However, once you know the spot, it's a good one with several travellers' services on and around the premises. The building, bedroom and bed were clean and comfortable. I spent three nights; one morning breakfast was from a short wish list, the others were from a self service buffet. Good, but as a vegetarian I missed the tomatoes. Ample parking space in front of the inn."

However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep.
