"Location is good. Not many options in town. 2 beds plus pull out couch was key for our family stay. Front desk staff was helpful, but I wouldn’t say friendly. We didn’t use amenities. Restaurant across the street was convenient. Bowling within walking distance."
"Super peaceful and well-maintained lodge and campus everyone should visit at least one time in their life. Despite being in the rainforest it was very clean and up to date— a perfect place for a nature lover."
"This was an older, well-maintained motel on the shore of Lake Quinault. The lake view was lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was really hiker friendly -- some great trails in the Quinault rainforest were accessible right from the property. The Salmon House restaurant was right across the street and the food was excellent."
"When we checked into our room we found that it had not been cleaned at all -- not even touched. Since there were no other rooms available, we had to wait about half an hour for staff to come in to clean it.
However, despite this initial negative impression, I really liked this place. The ocean view was spectacular, the walk to the beach was short, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the ocean in all its moods."
"The property surrounding the lodge does all the heavy lifting. It’s a gorgeous area and you can hear the roar of the waves from your room (which is amazing). We walked along the beach and wrote messages in the sand and admired the driftwood and the sunset. However… the room entrance was covered in bird poop, the bathroom sink was cracked, the sink handle was no longer attached to the unit, the screen door for the balcony was off track, one of the beds was unnaturally squeaky. It felt like a spring was out of place or something. Definitely not as comfortable as the second bed. The restaurant on site has you as a captive audience since the next nearest eateries are 40 minutes away. It’s great they have a restaurant but they skipped our reservation despite us checking in 10 minutes early (gave our table to another party), then marked us as no-shows in Open Table, brought my husband the wrong drink and brought my daughter the wrong meal. The whole dining experience took 90 minutes for a family of 3 without despite us placing food and drink orders at the same moment. On checkout day we opted to drive the 40 minutes elsewhere for breakfast. They do have a mercantile & coffee shop on property too, and the coffee made in the shop was excellent."
"Really cute property and the cabins were great! Parking was right next to the cabin so super convenient! A little thoughtful cleaning and this place would be perfect!"
