"The property was lovely and peaceful with beautiful views over the harbour. The buffet breakfast and hotel amenities like the waterside bar and cafe were also nice. The shuttle service was also handy. We booked 2 king bedrooms. The rooms were clean but quite basic. Unfortunately one of the rooms we were allocated (even though they were the same price) was located at the back of building looking into a hill and was very dark. "North Sydney Hotel was perfect for us! It was only a 1km walk to the US Consulate, the room was cute, the rain shower was perfect and the common room for breakfast was a nice touch. I only wished we could have stayed a lil longer to enjoy the pub and restaurant downstairs. It's in a great central location with easy access to trains."

"Location is great. Issue with Expedia listing, lake view is not really a full lake view like on the photos. The view is reality is once your outside on the small balcony poke half your body out, you have a very small side view. Could have booked anywhere else for the price per night."
