Hotel Dekat Fish Lake Reservoir

"Nobody at the reception desk to check us in on arrival. 3 people in line ahead of us. Had to go eat dinner and come back. Only 2 functioning lights in the whole room. Holding fixtures in the shower were broken - no place to put your soap or shampoo. Freezer dirty with leftovers inside. The toilet did not flush! Had to remove toilet tank lid and operate the flapper valve by hand as the chain was broken. Asked for a discount on the room the next morning. Was told the manager (Ishan) was not there...

"The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay."

"Virtual staff was super helpful and pretty responsive to all my questions and concerns. A lot to do in the area and less than a 20 minute drive anywhere. Only thing is if you’re a light sleeper bring an eye masks, ear plugs and your own blanket. Love the natural lighting the rooms get but if you’re wanting to sleep in there aren’t any black out curtains and walls are very thin, you can hear everything and the blankets that are provided are pretty itchy and thin.
