Room was cute and historic looking. Breakfast is lack lustre. Real eggs and butter vs “spread” would have made all the difference. Similar priced, but nicer places are nearby. Look around first. "

"If you are going to Suncorp Stadium or a Caxton Street venue like Lefty's Music Hall, this is the ideal place to stay. Arrive early to ensure limited hotel parking because the only other option is The Barracks which is very expensive. There are two sets of lifts in the carpark - one goes to the function area and the other to hotel reception, so make sure you read the signs. "Sorry to say but won't stay here again. We had a shower that flooded the bathroom floor&a basin that filled with water that never went down. We had a lovely person who stayed the second night &had their tv on for the entire night&the walls are paper thin. Not the best place to stay."

"View is amazing, however if you cannot get a good night sleep due to the state of the bed it doesn't matter how nice the view is. Bed base had clearly been broken for a while and been repaired poorly in the past so had 2 shocking nights of the 3 that we stayed. Bed was patched up before night 3 and sincerely hope the owner has since replaced the base. Extra bed consists of a blowup mattress that 'looses' air during the night so have to pump up multiple times during the night. Only received one...
