"Upon arriving we were greeted with lovely friendly service. Our rooms were comfortable and we appreciated all the amenities provided. Parking was also easy. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Can highly recommend."

"The staff were very accommodating. I couldn't climb the stairs to access my room. The staff at reception changed my room to one accessible although windowless. Didn't matter for one night. That was the only problem was hot in the room but a fan was provided"

"Comfortable and clean room with an exceptional breakfast. Valet parking only which was pricey (ยฃ35 per night) although you might get lucky with street parking. Spacious crescent in front of the hotel which would be nice to use for blue badge drivers. Kevin at reception was very helpful when checking in and out."

"We stayed overnight at the Stanneylands in order to visit Quarrybank Milk. We found it comfortable, we ate on the restaurant which was good basic food and good vale. Excellent breakfast."
