Very average, not good value for money.
Would not recommend, won’t stay here again.

Not the warmest of welcome on arrival here's your key this is your room. No information about meal times etc had to find this on a notice by the bar. Room was clean, no tea or coffee making facilities not even a glass in the room if you wanted to have a glass of water. It states on website that there is a free cooked to order breakfast on request that is difficult to do as there was nobody about to order this from. The supposed continental breakfast comprised a small selection of cereals white or wholemeal bread a toaster and pan chocolate juice tea and coffee. How this establishment could be rated as 4 star is beyond me. I have stayed in better hostels.
Absolutely shocking accommodation. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was two slices of bread that was left on a plate to be toasted with a large half used tub of spread and half used jar of jam. Utterly disgusting and unhygienic. I can not believe that Hotels.com use them!
We were upgraded and I wa Dover the moon as it’s my first ever upgrade.
The updated room was absolutely beautiful, including the bathroom.
We had a wonderful stay
Thank you
I booked this hotel in advanced as it has a bar and restaurant, so arriving after a five hour drive, and 6 hours of meetings I thought I can just stay in, eat and have an early night. When I arrived the bar & Restaurant was closed for the night... not happy... why can’t you contact customers who have booked to inform the if this??? Very tired I drove into th town to find somewhere to eat.
Room was fine and the hotel is clean and tidy. The English breakfast was very basic but the coffee machine was the best part... unfortunately I will not be staying here again.
It was a lovely little hotel very near to Farnham so we walked to the restaurants. The hotel was clean & tidy & as expected from the pictures we viewed. We had a front facing room which was a little noisy at night but not their fault. A couple of electrical & plumbing problems but nothing to ruin the weekend. Staff looked after us when we had breakfast. Nice hotel
Only saw one member of staff, but she was both friendly and helpful. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my taste but overall a nice little hotel, good for a one night stay.
Unfortunately i visited this hotel for business by myself, i had the lovely suite which was a very special room, it would have been much better if my wife had also come along, maybe next time!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
More of a guest house than a 'boutique hotel'. Large bed let down by a really cheap & thin mattress - need to either upgrade the mattress or put a descent topper on it. No heating on when we arrived during the heavy snow, so room was cold and uninviting, which was a shame as clean & tidy. Rest of facilities very basic - even no lemon or lime for my G&T from the 'bar'. No boiling water for tea at breakfast - just a thermos of luke warm water. However, sausage and bacon really tasty and the cooked breakfast came quickly. Definitely not worth the money it cost us but OK for a quick 1 night stop-over.
Good, polite and friendly service. The breakfast was very good just what we wanted, cooked personally for us. Weather was very cold and snow but the hotel was warm and comfortable. Perfect for us with a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
Very simply this was a clean and comfortable hotel to stay at. The shower had good temp and pressure, nice soaps were provided. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The breakfast was good and the 24 hour tea/coffee station was a very nice touch. We were able to walk to the train station and downtown for some shopping needs. Not sure what else you could ask for!
Having booked this accommodation on the basis of a very positive listing and the expectation that the premium price would indicate a "boutique" standard of room and service, it disappointing to find that the décor of both the bar/breakfast room and the hotel room itself were clearly reflective of the style of the premises previous life as a "brothel" - No mention of this in the listing!, but identified by a friend via a Google search. With dark red walls and curtains, and black furniture, the room was so poorly illuminated that it was difficult to open the combination locks on the suitcases. Perhaps the availability of a "love swing", carefully packed under the dressing table, was intended to be a compensation for other shortcomings.
The service can at best be described as functional rather than friendly and the breakfast as Spartan! The provision of a capsule coffee maker, from which all guests needed to make their own breakfast coffees, was quite irritating and time-consuming, when more visitors were around. Not worth the money, there are certainly better options in the area.
Not knowing the area we went by reviews and recommendations of which hotel to stay. We were very disappointed, the room walls were filthy, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, there was sticky substances on wall by the toilet, the toilet was a wooden seat and when you lifted it up it was eroding around the edge which is a lovely home for germs, the shower was boiling and we couldn't get it too a comfortable temperature. The whole hotel felt grubby. About the only 'OK' part of the stay was the staff were friendly (breakfast staff, the evening shift man didn't even lift his head towards us when we walked, was very busy on a pc it seemed) and breakfast was edible. Thank goodness it was only one nights stay.
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now for business trips. I have found it to be very comfortable both times - the rooms are cosy and nicely decorated. The town of Farnham is beautiful and this is a great value place to stay whilst in the area I would recommend it.
Never judge a book by its cover is the saying, so if you stood outside this hotel you'd rate it a 3 star... but once inside... it is great, it has a lovely character and the staff, will do the best to help and make your staff comfortable.
The rooms are beautifully presented and clean, TV's could be better. But the way they let you come and go it is a very comfortable hotel. Too many stays here and you'll be wondering around in your own slippers. In fact, might just do that next time i stay,
Not to mention Nadia, the beautiful lady who makes breakfast as you want it and provides a nice little chat. Perfect!
