It was late to book elsewhere so initially my family agreed to go regardless but as no further communication was forthcoming despite several attempts I booked elsewhere. "Stayed here for a weekend to be close to friends for a BBQ. The place was perfectly fine - a bit rough round the edges in spots, but nothing major. Had everything we needed and did the job as a base to stay. Would stay again for something similar. "

"Lovely hotel, good amenities . Bar and restaurant had a great feel . Lots of different areas to sit , with the bar being dog friendly. Lovely buffet breakfast. Room was clean and comfy, but a bit dated- maybe because it was a pet friendly room. Very nice comfortable stopover. "

"This is our second visit since covid. The place is wonderfully quiet and the pool is good. What lets it down is the hotel and pool area could do with some TLC (and a few quid spending on it). It's a little bit tired & the external appearance shows when you take a closer look. Broken soffits in the newer part and the pool needs to be refurbished before it starts to rot. there was no body wash in the changing rooms and no warning till it was too late. However, there was plenty of tea and coffee and the staff were very friendly. "
