"Historic property in the centre of Marlborough. Very convenient for the town and a good base to explore the local area. Food was good and staff helpful although they were busy. Room was well equipped and only thought was that it was looking a bit tired decor wise. Very comfy bed so no complaints. Would definitely stay again."

"Excellent service when I needed to alert the hotel that we would be late in checking in. The reception staff was waiting for us when we arrived slightly later than originally mentioned. The check-in process was completed quickly and we were in our rooms soon after."

"We were in the summer houses which were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The showers were the best ever. My husband did his morning walk up to the Castle and really enjoyed it. The full English breakfast was superb with delicious sausages and that set us up for the day. Overall a wonderful stay and we are sure to return. Highly recommend "

"We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."
