"Very busy the night I stayed.england playing Ghana in the world cup.but good natured supporters.good clean room.large bathroom.wifi bit iffy.telly placed in strange place,can't watch from beds so found a chair on landing which helped .a chair or two in room would be sensible.all in all good value for money"

"I had a truly exceptional stay at The Snooty Mehmaan. The experience began even before I arrived, thanks to a thoughtful courtesy call to confirm my check-in. Upon arrival, I was greeted with genuine warmth, and the staff kindly escorted my luggage to a room that was both stunning and impeccably clean. The highlight, however, was the evening meal. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about...

"The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area."

"Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen und bei der Anfahrt über das Grundstück freut man sich schon auf die typisch britische, alte Hausanlage. Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. Wir hatten jeder die preiswerteste Zimmer Kategorie gewählt, gute Matratzen, das Fenster ließ sich öffnen und super war auch das warme und sehr saubere Bad. "

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post.
