"I stayed at Pala to see a tribute concert, but arrived early enough to use the pool. It was the perfect temperature and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful. I would definitely stay there again."

"Rooms are about 95% clean, housekeeping can take a little bit more time. Check the ceiling above shower. Food crumbs under the desk table in the room. My window screen was on the patio and not on the window frame, housekeeping should have caught that. I put the screen back on, I didn't call for help. I am a current Director for HK and Maintenance in a 306 room building."

"This hotel is nothing short of a miracle in disguised. All from the obvious to the little details, this place was helpful to the max! Being right between Newport and Laguna, all the way to efficient parking, I couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. The room was not only gorgeous, but safe as it is also useful with a mini fridge. I will 100% stay here again!"

"This hotel doesn't have much on-site staff, but that's part of how they keep costs down. The room was big and very clean. It was also in a great location and had parking. We'd stay 100% again."

"This property is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and the stay felt like a total oasis. Amenities were great, room was clean and everything was just simple. Walls are very thin though. We stayed on first floor and You can hear the sliding doors slamming all throughout the day from upstairs. And then there was maintenance being done upstairs. Power tools, hammers, etc. and it was extremely loud."

"Truly a nice escape from reality! It feels so far away, but that's the point I think. Very clean and nice! The spa was amazing! 10/10 recommend. The pool area(s) were super clean and worth every penny. Definitely check out Hell's Kitchen - awesome dining experience!"

"Staff was excellent, The front desk clerk accommodated my request to move to a room closer to the elevator. The breakfast bar was above average. This hotel is really part hotel, part motel as 2/3 of the rooms have exterior doors. It's within walking distance to the beach and is on the PCH."
