Just right 👌

Easy and convenient access train station and buses, cheaper than staying in Edinburgh, plenty of pubs and food to choose from.

Zeer centraal gelegen, mooi appartement. Enige nadeel was het wonen boven een taxistandplaats. Zeer lawaaiig op een zaterdagnacht. Verder geen klachten was allemaal prima.

Great location in Falkirk. GPS wasn't accurate so we parked up and went walking to find door. We didn't read whole property description so got caught out with there being no lift. Try to book room on first floor as there are only 24 steps to that one !

Everything was perfect. Fresh and clean. I had a kettle, a fridge (no freezer), a microwave and a sink. Towels were ready. There were bowls and plates and utensils, along with soap, a sponge and dish rag. The bathroom was clean and large. The location was in walking distance to great shopping, scenery, and the train station. This place may present issues for older travelers as there is a spiral staircase and no lift. The shower was a good size but had no grips on the pan. Overall my stay was a delight. I would recommend this to any traveler who likes simple no frills stays in low key places. It was quiet, and had everything I needed for a short stay.

Location was great. In my opinion not really an apartment. Pretty much a hotel room with fridge and microwave. Both unused. No real complaints. A couple of things need addressing in the bathroom. Loose hot water tap. Loose towel rack. Nothing major but for the price it could be better. Don't think I would use again.

Fine if you want nothing to work

For over £200, it was absolutely freezing, the TV didn't work and neither did the heater.

Kelpies Serviced Apartments in Falkirk was very conveniently located - just a couple of minutes walk from Falkirk Grahamston station and a half hour walk to our gig venue. However, the "apartment" was no more than a glorified bedsit and certainly nothing like the lovely photos on the website. It was no bigger than many hotel rooms and featured a wall mounted microwave, sink and mini fridge in one corner of the room. If I book an apartment, I expect to have a decent amount of space to move about in. Despite the booking saying the apartment would have a king size bed, it was a double bed crammed into a small space beside a sloping ceiling. I am not tall by any stretch of the imagination, but found myself having to stoop on more than 1 occasion. A very small table was also positioned below an area of sloping ceiling. All in all, I did not consider this value for money and would be unlikely to book here again.

They should not be called apartments

The woman I phoned about payment and checking in was very nice and friendly. It states on hotels.com that check in was 1pm-6pm so we arrived in Falkirk from the north east of Scotland for a 1pm check but was then told that check in is not till 3pm so we had to wait a few hours. Getting the key is easy as it is just a key in a key safe, although another rooms key is also in there so I had to come back downstairs and put it back into the key safe. The bed and the pillows were comfy. I’m not sure they should be called apartments considering it was just a bed in a room (like any other hotel room). I tried to put a drink into the fridge and decided to take it back out again as there was a horrible smell in the fridge. There was also a horrible smell coming from the drawer above the fridge. The glasses that were available to use were also quite stained and unclean. The bathroom was a good size and had a spacious shower. Also the towels were a good size. Personally do not think that the room was worth the price.

Very disappointed

For what was supposed to be a 'Superior Apartment ' it turned out to be a small cramped room with a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned.

Not an appartment

Please be aware, these are not appartments! At best its a small, very small budget hotel room with a fridge & microwave. The sink is so small its unusable & the tap was very loose. There is nowhere to dry your towels, so still damp in the morning. No proper chair so you have to sit on the bed. I was in Falkirk on essential work so had to stay however i would not stay hear again & I think Hoyels.com should review its inclusion on their website.

They had great links with the surrounding town and the next door merchants seemed to be part and parcel of the experience

Not what most travellers would call an apartment

This accommodation is definately not an apartment but a not very spacious bedroom with only furniture a king bed and small bedside table plus a tiny sink with a small microwave in a small built in cupboard with no workspace.and ensuite bathroom. Stayed 2 nights but room was not serviced. Really good central position, but no parking except local which is expensive. Also be prepared to haul your luggage up a steep winding staircase. On the up side clean and modern.
