I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beachside Sunnyvale Motel. Colin and Tomoko were incredible hosts, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness. Tomoko welcomed us so warmly and was extremely accommodating, especially as she helped us at the last minute after our original accommodation fell through. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline).
