"Our first room was so hot abot 100 and the fan did not work. I called frontbdesk they said open the window. Then the fire arla m kept going off called front desk maintence came changed batteries. Then alarm continued. Then they changed our room . The next room had no heat called front desk they said to put fan on only blew cold air. Called front desk someone came up to check . Then gave us another room different floor finally 3rd room was ok. Should have been given money back or certificate for free room. "

"This hotel is under construction so common areas and hallways were dirty and lots of plastic, and very noisy. The room itself was very clean. However, there was nowhere to put clothes...no closet or clothes rack and no dresser or even drawers. The tv was great but the lighting in the room was terrible. The restaurant was closed, although they did put out a decent breakfast. We feel that all of this should have been disclosed on the hotel's website. If we had been staying more than one night we would have changed hotels for sure."

"Was always the only place myself and all my family members would stay in Freeport Maine. I'm so disappointed that such a beautiful inn has deteriorated to what it is today.I wish the new owners the best of luck. They have a major task to bring this landmark Inn back to a class A destination."
