"I recently stayed at this hotel with my two teens for a short weekend trip in Philly. It is well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast, It is also conveniently located just a block from the L line and on the Arch street bus line, about a mile from many of the Old City attractions. We typically walked to and from these attractions, but when we got too tired one afternoon we simply hopped on the bus to get back. Definitely check out Reading Market just across the street; it's worth staying here just for that. And when we had leftovers, it was great having the fridge/microwave/kitchen to heat them up that evening. Also, when I accidentally left a few things behind and had to call the front desk, Cindy was incredibly helpful in locating the items and telling me what I needed to do to get them back. My single complaint was that the rooms did not include hair conditioner (just body wash and shampoo), so bring your own (although I did not ask the front desk about this). Also, as a heads up, the entrance is on 12th street not Arch street. Overall, I recommend this property and will stay here again!"

"Nice view from balcony. Pool is heated, and has a nice view. You can tell it was an old hotel with SOME newly renovations. Valet parking was easy, and had friendly staff. 5 min walk to Love Park, 18 min walk to Rocky Statue and 13 min walk to Reading Market. 4 stars due to the headboard peeling. ."
