"There is definitely no complaint about the location and the cleanliness. But the water flow of the shower head is too weak. The ladder of the bunker bed is made of thin metal bars, therefore it is hard and dangerous to climb up and down. Finally if a bath tub is available, it will be much better. Anyway, it is a nice stay. "

"The room I got had so much character, with a beautiful view of the water and city, even the windows were lovely. Everything was clean, bright and felt safe (older woman travelling alone for dr appointment). I enjoyed my room so much that I got room service and ate, looking out the window. The meal was visually beautiful and tasted wonderful. All staff were wonderful. Bed was comfy. For those who are chemically sensitive, the linens have a touch of scent. I would stay here again, can't beat...

"The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available."

"Overall we had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly, the location was ideal (close to the Whitecaps game) and the 1 bedroom suite was comfortable. A couple draw backs was that I didn't realize at the time of checkin (and missed a subsequent email) that the timeshare/condo units at Rosedale do not include shampoo/conditioner which was a little bit of an inconvenience when you are staying for a few nights. "
