"Huge lovely apartment with a full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Good location close to the cathedral for easy walking around town. Only downside was the amount of noise off the street. "Breakfast ok but out of hot food when we arrived, slow to refill then pounced on by other guests waiting then another long wait for more. Room fine but needing better cleaning as black mould on shower tiles and on wall behind curtain next to window in our room is obvious, otherwise a good value hotel in a must visit town."

What stood out then still stands out now: the warmth of the staff, the charm of the property, the cozy atmosphere, and the attention to every small detail. The hotel feels like a true gem within Évora — perfectly situated, beautifully maintained, and close enough to enjoy the town while still feeling peaceful and special. The staff are genuinely helpful and welcoming, and the entire experience feels personal rather than transactional. Of all the places I visited across Spain and Portugal on my last trip, this hotel was the one that stayed with me the most. Returning here confirmed why. It has the rare quality of making you feel both at home and somewhere truly memorable. Because of this experience, I’m also looking forward to staying with the Unlock group in Lisbon and expect the same level of care and hospitality."

"Beautiful hotel. Welcoming staff and very helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast great with fresh yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries and breads, and cheeses and ham. The staff parked our car which was great because we were not used to the narrow streets. I would recommend a stay here!"
