Besuch bei Rosina in Ettal

Gepflegtes Haus. Netter Empfang durch Herrn Bartel. Unser Zimmer, bestückt mit Möbeln im alpenländischen Stil, lag ab der Straße, der Verkehrslärm war nicht zu hören. Das Badezimmer schien neu renoviert. Einzig das Frühstück könnte noch etwas "Frische" gebrauchen. Vielleicht sollte die ein oder andere Scheibe Wurst oder Käse durch etwas Obst oder Joghurt ersetzt werden. Die Übernachtung im Gästehaus Ethiko hat uns gut gefallen.

Beautiful view and room is spacious and clean. Convenient location Ettal Kloster is across the street.Breakfast was great!Make sure you have cash! They don’t take credit cards.

Die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sind extrem laut auch nachts, Fenster öffnen daher nicht möglich. Das Frühstück ist eher mäßig: keine Abwechslung, kein Müsli, kein Obst, kein Joghurt, nur eine Sorte Brötchen. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett, aber aufgrund von Personalmangel total überfordert. Preis-/Leistung passte nicht.

Ein sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang. Über die Tage erhielten wir viele Hinweise, um Ort und Gegend gut kennen zulernen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ins Ethiko fahren wir bestimmt bald wieder.

Kurzurlaub

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Wir wurden jedoch sehr sehr unfreundlich vom Eigentümer begrüßt. Jedes Mal wenn wir ihm über den Weg gelaufen sind, hat er uns erklärt dass er keine Touristen mag oder doofe Kommentare abgegeben (z.B. dass seiner Meinung nach Frauen nicht Autofahren können). Absolut unprofessionell! Im Zimmer gab es keine Seife, in der Toilette keinen Mülleimer und keine komplett abdunkelnden Vorhänge (und das im EG). Mit wenig Aufwand könnte man das Zimmer viel besser machen. Einfaches Frühstück gab es nur von 8 bis 9 Uhr. Wir würden hier nicht nochmal übernachten.

schönes Gebäude aber direkt an der Hauptstraße

Als wir ankamen, wusste man trotz Buchungsbetätigung erst mal nichts von uns. Wir bekamen zum Glück das letzte freie Zimmer. Für den Preis etwas arg veraltet. Die Matratzen waren sehr weich, was wir beide am morgen spürten. Das Bad war allerdings relativ neu gemacht. Desinfektionsspender usw. waren leider nicht anzutreffen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft neben dem Kloster Ettal

Direkt am Kloster Ettal gelegene und in unseren Zimmern mit modernsten Bädern ausgestattete Unterkunft. Alles war sehr sauber: Das Frühstück rwar reichhaltig. In manchen Bereichen ist das Haus wegen der Holzbalkendecken etwas hellhörig. Ab 19:30 Uhr war aber alles während unserer Übernachtung sehr ruhig. Dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, schien jedoch nicht gerne gesehen zu werden. Das WLAN hat nicht immer funktioniert.

Ideale Unterkunft für Übernachtungen auf dem Weg nach oder aus Richtung Süden, aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Bergen oder Besichtigung Zugspitze u.a.. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, tolle Umgebung, sehr hilfreiches und freundliches Personal. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung!

Zurück in Omas Zeiten... Nettes Gästehaus mit zuvorkommenden Personal. Ruine antiquierte, aber gut erhaltene Einrichtung versetzt einen herzlich zurück, was aber die ganze Stimmung nur unterstreicht und hier nicht fehl am Platz ist. Absolute neu renovierte Bäder und Top sauber!

Small town B&B - pleasant

Nice B&B that has ample parking and is only a short walk from restaurants, brewery and distillery in the local monastery. The innkeeper is pleasant, but struggles with English language. With our minimal German language skills, we worked things out. Hearty breakfast. Slept well with windows open. Farmer did his mowing in adjacent field beginning before 7:30 AM.

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer im EG mit Erker. Ausgestattet mit 2 historischen Holzbetten, einem alten Kachelofen und anderen rustikalen Möbeln, was uns extrem gut gefallen ! Man fühlt sich wie ein Ferienkind, das bei der Oma übernachtet. Der alte Charm tröstet auch darüber hinweg, dass es nur eine Nachttischlampe und keine dunklen Vorhänge gibt. Aber zeitiges Aufwachen ist ganz gut, da es Frühstück nur von 8-9 Uhr gibt. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber ok. Ein bissel Wurst, Käse , Brot. Leider keinen Naturjoghurt und kein frisches Gemüse. Das Bad ist eine im Nachhinein im Zimmer eingebaute “Bad-Box” und gerade die winzige Integrierte Dusche nur für schlanke Menschen nutzbar. Fazit : wer keinen Luxus erwartet und über die eine oder andere Kleinigkeit hinwegsehen kann , wird sich hier, in diesem charmanten Anwesen mit den urig- gemütlichen Zimmern , im Stil vergangener Zeiten sehr wohl fühlen.

CANADA REVIEW.

Great place to stay and make HOME BASE, we wee there for 15 days and had a grat time, great room nice and large with a view of the mountains, clean, great breakfast and our host was very kind to all of us as we were 2 couples from TORONTO CANADA..as well lots of available parking and eating coffee areas..all nearby..and last across the street from the ETTAL KLOSTER..WE ALL OF US HAD A GREAT TIME....all the staff were fantastic.

Cozy inn

Don't expect standard hotel reception if you arrive after 8pm, I have to say that our check-in was not happy. However the inn keeper prepared a decent breakfast for only two of us, and the view at the balcony was fantastic in the winter season. Only suitable for self-driving travel.
