"We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo...."

"A very lovely B&B with great location, beautiful room, wonderful hosting from Karen and team and best breakfast I've had in years. Over three days, the breakfast was perfect. The bed too is probably the most comfortable bed i can remember ever
The Host gives great, heartfelt advice which is super helpful."

"Some of the furniture in the room was slightly old fashioned but it was very clean and tidy and suited us perfectly as a family of 3.
We were provided with tea and coffee making products and there was cutlery and a table and chairs to eat in the room, if necessary.
The breakfast was nice and the host was friendly and kind.
We would stay here again ☺️"

"Reception staff were polite and very helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy. There was a constant noise overnight in our room that appeared to be coming from above us. Car parking was good. There's some shops over the road like an M&S. We used the spa the next morning, lovely pool with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and relax area. We were told that you can only use the spa until the check out time (11am), it wasn't busy, I think they need to relax this a bit and let people stay until at least mid afternoon unless it is very busy, also we hadn't been in the hotel more than 12hours at 11am, so it would have been nice to be able to use the unbusy spa without being told we needed to depart."
"The lifts were broken so only stairs the staff were extremely friendly and helpful could not do enough the breakfast was great hot and fresh great hash browns"
"On the whole a lovely clean hotel. There was some dust behind furniture etc when pulling out to get to sockets.
Breakfast was lovely and a good variety. At dinner the food was very nice except for the pie unfortunately the pastry was rock hard, but filling was nice.
The pool was great for the kids and the room was nice and large with 2 X doubles and a double sofa bed for 4 of us. The 3 fans provided were great and kept us nice and cool in extremely hot weather. The fridge in the room was also very handy for keeping cool.
Lounge area is lovely to relax in some air con and have a drink or meet friends.
Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend."
"We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided.
The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor.
Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable."
"Good vibe, pleasant staff and great amenities. Bedrooms could do with a refurbishment and Spa looks dated.
Otherwise good place to stop over whether business or pleasure."
"We loved everything about our stay at The George in Rye Hotel. The service at the restaurant and reception was excellent and the quality of the food was outstanding.
A special thank you to George, who kindly managed to arrange our food order even though the restaurant was extremely busy. His professionalism and helpful attitude made our experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended — we will definitely return!"
