"We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. The bar is spacious and conveniently located right by the pool, which made it easy to relax with a drink in hand. "It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. I had to pay an additional $60 a night plus tax for a rollaway. Second, you really can’t go out into the water here. The beach goes straight to a dead...
