B&B in Eravur Pattu

"What a delightful stay at Karpaha Sands on the East coast of Sri Lanka . The beautiful beachfront property, great staff and fabulous food all made for a great experience. The staff here have smiles galore and are very helpful and obliging. The small touches like cookies and chocolate brought to your room in the evening, the complimentary fruit juices brought to your beach lounge, home made jams at breakfast , small taster pre dinner are lovely extras. A glitch on check in had us changing rooms and a bit disappointing start as we had rooms booked for a birthday celebration. An upgrade was offered but did not eventuate. The facilities are designed to really appreciate the sea views and breeze -pool is fabulous. Our favourite slingshot guy kept the pesky crows away. We had a lovely time with our family and friends from Australia. East coast of Sri Lanka is our favourite..Kalkudah did not disappoint. A little slice of paradise "

"Friendly staff, manager Janaka was very helpful. large property, large clean rooms, behind the hotel is the ocean, large/ clean pool. Inside is safe. Only down side was hotel not offering meals, other than breakfast. With small kids, it’s hard to look around. If I visit the area again, I would stay at this hotel again. Because of the food, I give a little low rating. "

"Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious with options for all visitors. Gym had good equipment and the pool and grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to have an iron in all rooms it would have been helpful with my wrinkled dresses."

"Property is beautiful and staff is amazing. Issue is our AC in the room broke down during the night and It didn’t come til next day 10am and it was 34 Celsius or 94 Fahrenheit . "

"The staff was very friendly and the yoga session conducted for us in the morning is very good. The yoga instructor makes a real effort to help us learn yoga. Food was nice and the rooms were clean. Overall, it is a great place to relax and spend a weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel again. "

"We spent 5 nights at Sun Siyam and we had a wonderful time, including a fantastic Nee Year’s Eve party. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. They looked after our little boy like royalty! We spent time on the beach and round the pool. The food was excellent with plenty of choices including lots of amazing vegetable dishes. We did a cookery session with the chef and enjoyed cooking the items we had selected from market. Everyone from the GM down made us feel very welcome, and we very much appreciated this. Our room was great for the three of us with a huge bathroom and outdoor bath. A lovely beach location with friendly team looking after you. "
