Independent Erathna hotels

"We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. At least in the room we stayed, there were only power outlets with circular-shaped pins (something to keep in mind if you're used to using square pin adapters). The WIFI was a bit iffy at times but that might be a good thing if you want to get away from work-related online stuff! The choices of meals was rather limited but adequate. Would love to come back for a longer stay!"

"We had a very enjoyable stay, thanks to the beautiful location; excellent, friendly, personalised attention from all the staff; and delicious food at every meal - both the western food and Sri Lankan curry were superb. Our room was spacious, with all the modern conveniences and superior amenities one could need. We had a lovely walk one day and a very interesting tour of the Dilmah tea factory. "

"SUPER friendly and accommodating staff. I made my booking earlier in the day but it hadn’t come through their system they totally took me in and showed me to my room right away. It was spacious and the hot water worked. Very close to the base of the Adam’s Peak hike so can start the hike from the hotel’s doorstep. Had a wonderful breakfast on their outdoor porch after my hike. I’d recommend this hotel to any travelers visiting the Sri Pada area. "
