"Staff were great, hotel really nicely maintained and set out. Room was beautiful, view across the Estuary was outstanding. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back"

"Room was a disappointment, damp smell throughout, bathroom not clean, lack of towels, no biscuits, etc……. Asked for alternative but as hotel was full we couldn’t change rooms Breakfast is a bit chaotic and room stifling hot Overall every year sadly, it just get a little worse Needs some tlc Outside pool area is a disgrace and is still closed"

"Hotel and staff lovely. Some parts of the hotel are tired. The radiator in the bathroom was on constantly it’s been a hot few days. Would definitely return it’s in a good location and the amenities in the hotel are excellent with an indoor and outdoor pool. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area."

"Really friendly atmosphere. very helpful (and sometimes entertaining!) staff & other guests. Excellent location. We took a bit of a gamble, relocating from another property and were so glad we did. Not a corporate atmosphere like the Travelodges or Premier Inns, Sleep not disturbed by slamming doors, etc"

"Lovely new hotel. Bedroom with beautiful sea view and complimentary nice touches. A small table and chair by window would have been good and curtains let a lot of daylight in early morning but otherwise room was spot on. Disappointed that roof top bar wasn't open for majority of my stay and when it was open, it wasn't serving the food advertised on menu. Service in restaurant a bit slow and confusing around whether bar or table service and whether food available outside or not. Need more staff behind bar at peak times. Not ideal when wine arrives after you've finished food but bar staff clearly juggling table orders and walk up customers. All small things that are easily fixed and I'd stay again as hotel itself is beautiful."

"Room tidy if a bit dated, lots of floorboard noise within room and especially above. Very good staff. Great breakfast with excellent choices, the hotel grounds are superb , very well kept and great to stroll and sit in. Very good swimming pool and facilities."
