"I stay here at least once a year and I enjoy the hot pools which are clean and well-maintained. The room is always clean and working properly too with plenty of space. It’s not a fancy place but it’s friendly, reliable, and affordable. The restaurant food wasn’t as well-prepared this time as from previous visits, but I like the selection and the prices."

"Upon arriving in our room, we noticed a strong odor that smelled like toilet or drain water. At first, we assumed it might be because there were no windows, so we left the fan running while we went out. However, when we returned several hours later, the smell had become much worse and had spread throughout the entire room, resembling old drain water. As a result, we had to be moved to another room, causing us to miss our lunch reservation. Unfortunately, the issues continued in the second room....

"Solid property close to Pioneertown for the concert we attended. Interior of room is Ikea. Extra bedding helped, quiet property. Joshua Tree is 30 minutes away. A lot of parking, no elevator. Tiny gift shop, no breakfast but they have coffee. Staff is super friendly and helpful. That was the best part of the stay."

"Room was nice and clean and spacious. Sheets were clean, pillows were clean, towels, etc. Befs are medium firm, pillows too, I had a comfortable sleep. Loved the little detail with my name on the TV screen when we walked in. It’s just the little things. "Unfortunately, my stay at Rio Del Sol in Needles, California was one of the biggest disappointments of my Route 66 trip. The room was unbearably hot, and even with the air conditioning set to 61°, it never cooled down. After a long day on the road in the desert, that made for a very uncomfortable night.
