"I have stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience, which is why I was surprised by the condition of my room during this stay. While the property is relatively new, the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before my arrival. There was a dirty towel left in the room, stains on the sheets, chips on the floor, and the toilet was not clean. "We love it all, we would love to see the carpet removed in the downstairs s rooms by the pool. When we arrive our room always smells like pet pee. I always have to make a run to Safeway for pet deodorizer spray. A flooring upgrade would be grand!!!"

"We were there the first day of the off season so it was very quiet in the village but necessary shops and a few restaurants were still open. We enjoyed it - very peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub in our building in the evening. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting Tahoe."

"Maybe the mistake was booking one of the cabins instead of a regular room. The first indicator that there would be cleanliness issues started before we even walked in the door of the room. A q-tip and a couple pieces of trash laid right out side the door. The room initially looked cute enough, dated, but cute. All the windows and sliding door were open upon entering which we quickly found out was absolutely necessary to air the strong scent of wet dog in the room that lingered our entire stay....
