"We stayed at Townhouse at Brecon for a family trip and had a lovely experience. The building has lots of character, and as it’s an older property, there is a narrow flight of stairs to the rooms, something to be mindful of, especially with luggage. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. Host were absolutely excellent— warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. "Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "

"This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."

"Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking. We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. "Room was huge, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff were all friendly & helpfull, making our stay very pleasant. Wifi didn't work but didn't affect us and only tiny criticism would be a lack of hooks/rails in the lovely bathroom, as there was nowhere to hang wet towels. "
