"Nice hotel, good food and wonderful location"

"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"Our room had no air conditioning and was above the kitchen, which made us both noisy and uncomfortably hot. The children really struggled to sleep, which meant no sleep for us either. Staff were nice and the room was clean but if only stay again in the winter months."

"I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. The meal at our function was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pub attacked next to the hotel was lovely We sat. In the garden at the back it was so relaxing, ... , The choices at breakfast...

"Parking was easy. Plenty of space, We received a warm friendly greeting from the receptionist. She was very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. We will book a queen size bed next time and ask for a quilt to be put on the mattress as we found the bed a little hard. Breakfast was comprehensive and good quality. Sadia the lady working this morning was very helpful. All in all, we were impressed with the hotel and will be staying again"

"Our room wasn t ready so after 45 mins we were given a different room but a double not the singles I requested When went for breakfast there was confusion as they didn't t have us on the list.Sorted eventually We stayed 2 nights but for some reason the housekeeper didn't t clean or leave clean towels extra the 2nd day I told reception who gave me more tea coffee milk but no apology or explanation for the housekeeper not servicing our room Dissapointing"

The room was lovely and the provision of a fan in the heat this weekend was much appreciated! We will definitely be back. Also, the layout and the way the property is maintained is gorgeous, such lovely plants made it feel really cared for and seeing the Peregrines nesting on the church opposite was the icing on the cake!"
