"Pretty good place, and large. I bet lots of people get lost in the mazelike corridors, like my kid did. Housekeepers were very friendly and helpful, a big thanks to them. The location is great, right on the walking/bike trail along the river. The pool and hot tub were very good, and there was actually a lifeguard on duty, which you almost never see in a hotel.
I did wait in line at check-in for an eternity, because somebody's credit card wasn't working. I get that these things happen, but maybe the staff should have made that person wait instead of the dozen people in line. When you've been traveling all day you just want to get into your room, especially when you've already reserved and paid for it. They also added an extra fee of $9 at check-out, with no reason given, and nobody answered the phone when I called to inquire what it was for. The only thing I can think is that it's because they offered me a choice of what "view" I wanted (a choice I'd already selected for myself online). You should tell people when you're upselling something. Thanks but I am not paying that!"
"We were looking for a last minute room and this place was cheap. We were hesitant but past reviews suggested otherwise. They were correct. It was a simple place in a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was very basic but they offered a hot meal from Denny’s which was a great option.
We would highly recommend if you are looking a cheap and clean location."
