"We loved that it was so quiet and peaceful. The living space in the upstairs cottage/loft. The owners were very nice and willing to help in anyway that they could. They made a great breakfast to start your day. Great place!!"

"While our stay was otherwise pleasant, it ended with a serious security issue that should never happen at any hotel. At approximately 7:30 a.m. on the morning of checkout, a man used a working key card to open our room door, claiming he had previously stayed there and left his shoes behind. Whether he was given a new key or his old key was never deactivated, neither explanation is acceptable. "Definitely does not look as presented on the website. Rooms are very out dated, has a very questionable elevator that does have its permit displayed. Pool and hot tub are out of commission. Hallways are very short, I’m 5’9 and can touch the ceiling with my arms not even halfway raised. Bathroom has a walk in shower that is half glass and half curtain, and the curtain doesn’t go fully to the floor so water splashes out and soaks the floor."

"Our stay at the Davis Motel was great!!! It’s definitely got an old school vibe and reminded us of traveling as kids, haha. The welcome gift was much appreciated, and the laundromat onsite was a plus. The owner, Bill, was very helpful in recommending places to see in the area. And the coffee was probably the best we have had on our trip!"

"The staff was terrific. Very friendly and helpful!! Our room had a lot of ants, crawling on the desk area, shelf under the tv, and the mirror above the desk. We were on the second floor . The bathroom shower had some mold in the corners."
