"We booked a deluxe city king and were assigned room 103 which was a comfortable, clean and beautiful room. However we found the street noise loud at night (perhaps increased due to vivid) and we had an amazing view of a tennis court and the terraces across the road. Disappointed we were below the skyline view and couldn’t be moved due to full capacity. None the less, a beautiful hotel and lovely staff and easy to walk to the rocks."

"We have been regulars at the Lord Nelson for a number of years. This stay was probably the least satisfying. We had a four night stay the towels were changed on the third day but unfortunately we were not provided with a replacement bath mat. "Nice boutique hotel within good location of Darling Harbour & Barangaroo. Unfortunately no onsite parking & only option was Wilsons parking & very expensive. Breakfast was very average with minimal selection, which could be improved"

"The view was spectacular. Could not get better! We didn’t want to leave it - even to go on our harbour cruise. Rooms were clean and modern and the beds were so comfortable. The Shower in the main bathroom was tiny and there was built up grime around the bottom of the shower door and under the sink benchtop. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, so overall the apartment felt very clean. Concierge was just lovely and could not have been more welcoming and supportive, bringing ice to our room...

"I arrived at the property at 23.10 nobody to help me to get into my room, I sat on the door step until 23.47 when a couple of girls let me in. I was emailing the company to be told they needed $100 in order for them to give me the code to retrieve my pass key. I finally got into my room at 12.24 am. It was dreadful a 64 year old woman on her own to be treated in this way. I was given a voucher for an Italian meal and had to choose from 3 items all containing Gluten which I am allergic. "We stayed at Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour for one night to celebrate my son’s birthday, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. "Our apartment was extremely spacious. Family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 older teens - beds catered perfectly, bathroom and ensuite in main bedroom, laundry, kitchen, dining and lounge, 2 balconies. Everyone had their own space, but also great living areas to be together in. Staff very pleasant and accommodating, easy check in, clean. Could do with a referb, but facilities all functional and clean. Location near The Rocks and a short walk to train station or city centre. Would book again."
