"We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. Several restaurants along the seafront, some good, some expensive. The evening buffet in the hotel was very high quality, plenty of choice, and even less expensive...

"Unser Zimmer war super, es hatte ein gutes Badezimmer mit Fenster, eine nette Aussicht auf die hügelige Landschaft und einen großen Fernseher. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe vom Busbahnhof und in zehn Minuten kann man zum Strand laufen. Die Verkehrsmittel sind allerdings nicht gut und die Entscheidungstrager der Stadt Almunecar hat offensichtlich wenig Interesse, ihr wichtiges historisches Erbe und ihre Strände sauber zu halten. Wenn ich wieder nach Almunecar fahren würde, würde ich bestimmt...

"Amazing location! We took daily walks, had a seaview, swam in the Mediterranean and enjoyed all that the area had to offer! Breakfast was nice, but staff could have been friendlier. I asked nicely if the could fill my water bottle, and she directed me to the bathroom faucet. When she saw my facial reaction, then she took it to the kitchen faucet. "

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard....

"Pros: Great location. Very clean. Pleasant and professional staff. Large pool with lots of loungers. Breakfast Buffet had many options and was replenished often. Good variety of food options off the property along the beach. Cons: No Coffee in the room. A face cloth is not supplied with the bathroom towels. No Iron or ironing board in the room. One could be borrowed at the front desk when available with a 20 Euro deposit. Pool towels require a 20 Euro deposit per towel and refunded at the...

"The location of the hotel is excellent as are the staff. The hotel itself though is quite tired and due an upgrade. The pool area is run down and the sunbeds (if you manage to get one) are broken. There is no pool bar, so the area doesn’t work as despite this you are unable to bring drinks in from outside. This wouldn’t be an issue if there price were not so high, there are much better options locally for this price point "

"I was delighted how close to the beach in Nerja this hotel was. It was comfortable and loved the rooftop deck and hot tub. The price was very reasonable And the staff were extremely helpful "
