"A city centre hotel that is about 10 minutes from the old town. It is fairly modern. The breakfast was excellent loads of choice and from 7am. I didn't use any of the facilities as I was there sightseeing but the room was quiet and comfortable. All the contact I had with the staff, they were friendly and helpful. There's a small supermarket straight over the road. Apart from breakfast all my meals were out in the restaurants of the old town or in Triana just over the river. "
"This hotel looks fantastic on the website. However, there are many areas that are disappointing:
The rooms are very basic, certainly NOT 4 star! The walls are paper thin… I could even hear someone snoring. Then the rooms above were very noisy.
There is an older waiter in the cafe bar who is totally obnoxious. I ordered a mineral water as I had a strong heartburn and he told me to sit down. After 5 minutes of waiting, in extreme discomfort, I went up and said “sorry but please can I have the water I am in pain?” He told me to sit down again. I did and then he started chatting to a colleague with the bottle on his tray. I went up again and took the bottle off the tray, apologising as I did it. The look he gave me was dreadful… I thought he was going to hit me. He had also been unpleasant when I first arrived at the hotel. He is in the wrong job I think. Also the receptionists are very miserable and never smile. I travel such a lot and have never experienced a hotel as unwelcoming as this! "
"It was Dia de Andalusía and I was suffering from a bad cold and jet lag when I arrived. Sara at the front desk was especially helpful at directing me to the most convenient resources like a pharmacy and cafes with healthy meals that were still open on the national holiday. She helped me plan getting a train ticket, and watched my bags and called for my taxi to arrive just when I would finish eating a late breakfast next door. I felt taken care of. The location close to the parks and train stayion was excellent. "
"Fantastic location - a short walk to the Alcázar, Seville Cathedral and the Plaza de Espana. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast selection is excellent. The only downside was the air conditioning was okay but not great. I would recommend this hotel."
