"Lovely old rustic farmhouse, full of character, quiet & comfortable. The unmade road is fine if you follow the instructions given and drive slowly. Hosts were very friendly, as were all the dogs! Had dinner on the first night which was excellent (soup, meatballs, chocolate dessert), then sat in the main house lounge by the fire - very relaxing! "We had read many reports about access to the property if you have a car….so we parked at the bottom of the hill in a large enclosed multi storey car park and called for a taxi to be dropped off at the Parador. If maybe you have a small backpack or small wheeled case you may enjoy the long walk uphill in the heat….dont let this deter you. The staff were extremely friendly and advised us that they have a special rate for the car park so gave us a voucher code. The room had a large terrace and the hotel is a “ classic” parador so antiques here and there and this one surprisingly had a tea kettle so was able to make a drink."
