"Staff really make this place. Everyone working at Stella is absolutely outstanding! Hardest working individuals, I’ve met and super friendly. Go above and beyond. Food was great, the only thing I would say is the drinks let it down for me personally. Didn’t enjoy any drinks. Also bare in mind how cosy it is if you want to sunbathe on your deck if you have a swim up room. you literally have people sunbathing in front of you as there are no general pool just the swim up pools so people will be swimming past your room, look into it at all times."

"Lovely room, well appointed, the most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever slept in! Friendly, helpful staff especially in the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner. Recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday."

"The rooms are large and well kept. They are a bit tired but this didn't affect anything. Pool area is nice and there are always sunbeds available. Near the beach, tavernas and supermarkets. Gouves centre is a 20-minute walk away where there are many more tavernas, shops and a bigger beach with watersports. Check-in was ok but we arrived tired (evening) and were given several rules about the property which felt like a lecture before we'd even had chance to check in, pay and feel settled. Air conditioning is an additional charge that is not made clear on Expedia. We did have a lovely stay but first impression wasn't great."

"This is an amazing hotel managed by the kindest people! Everything was very clean and the location is great! Across the street from Sirroco beach, an incredible beach! Stores and restaurants within a 1 - 2 minute walk. The breakfast is very good with fresh fruit and pastries, bread and spreads (peanut butter, jam, honey) etc… and it is delivered to your room every morning. The island restaurant has amazing food and drinks with a patio that is perfect. Anfield Bar is a family run establishment with great drinks and also has a great patio to close out a busy day! Highly Recommend Ebenus Suites."

"Great family resort with multiple pools and activities. Good for younger kids and families who are mostly looking to spend their time at the hotel. A few decent shops and restaurants nearby and nice beaches a 10 minute walk. Taxis are expensive in the islands. €35 from airport to resort. 15-20 min"

"Wonderful welcome from wonderful staff. Nothing feels like too much trouble. The standard room was basic but was perfectly sufficient for our needs and cleaned every day. The hotel has a boutique style with 2 nice outdoor pools and one indoor, next to the small but sufficiently equipped gym. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the spa treatments but the staff were also very nice in there. We were half-board and found the food to be excellent - lots of choice, very fresh and again, wonderful staff. I travelled with my teenage daughter and we were glad to see a variety of different people and age groups at the hotel, couples, groups and families. The location is also very good. It is in a quiet area within walking distance (20 mins) of the beach, some shops, tavernas and bars. There are bus stops close by to take you to busier areas such as Heraklion and Hersonissos, which we used frequently. The hotel also facilitates car rental (for the brave) as well as airport transfers, which we used on arrival and were very happy with. The one and only criticism is reserving sunbeds with towels. The hotel states that they do not allow it but it happened daily and no one acted upon it. It meant that we spent very little of our time in the hotel using their facilities. I think if you have a policy, you should stick to it. It was very frustrating to see reserved beds left for many hours unoccupied."
