"The staff were very welcoming even when we arrived very late (23:50) somewhat wet and bedraggled after a horrendous drive in the rain up the M6. We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. We would be happy to stay again."

The breakfast was inedible, badly cooked and cold items were stale. Bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom functional but dated. Staff really lovely and trying their best in very difficult conditions."

"I recently stayed in a Superior Double Room and was disappointed by the overall experience, particularly considering the premium rate charged. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel benefits from a large free car park, which was appreciated. However, several aspects fell well below what I would expect from a superior room. The room felt somewhat dated, and attention to detail was lacking. Only one teaspoon was provided despite there being two mugs in the room....

"We stayed during the hottest May on record, and the AC system in the rooms was not operational as we were informed by the front desk, that this functionality is only switched on for summer. As the room windows only open a few inches, it made for a hot and uncomfortable few nights stay."

Mahamed who just joined the team greeted us warmly, gave us some wildflower seeds to take with us and plant at home. Lani managed to secure us a large illustrated city map. The fruit infused water at reception was very welcome after an exciting day of travel. The bar staff helped us when they saw we needed their assistance.
