"Ideal location for Ross on Wye and exploring the area. Old historic building with usual quirky uneven floors and some signs of wear and tear which were more than compensated for by the friendliness and warmth of all of the staff. We had a superior room with windows on two sides - spacious and very comfortable with traditional dark wood furniture. In older buildings, a lack of power points is often an issue, as it was for this room, but I take an extension lead - problem solved. Breakfast was excellent, and we had a sandwich at lunch and bar snacks in the evening in the bar, both very good. Parking is within the hotel and free. Would go back and recommend to others."

Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her preferred breakfast food with no fuss."
