"Super friendly staff. Excellent dinner menu and breakfast. Room was adequate for short stay, but disappointing that the window didn't close properly which resulted in noise from the street and railway line nearby."

"Mooi autentiek schots cafe waar je ook lekker kan eten. De kamer was schoon en ruim met een heerlijk bed en een grote badkamer. .s Ochtends een stevig echt schots ontbijt waar je de rest van de dag op teren kan. Minpuntje is het uitzicht en de waterkraan bij de wastafel die te laag is. Zeker een aanrader."

"Though an old building, it is very well maintained. Very clean and the host (Alice) very friendly and helpful. it is beautifully placed and our room overlooked the Musselburgh Racecourse/ golfing green. Breakfast (though continental) was very nice and you were able to choose what you wanted and at what time and this was brought up to your room in a lovely basket. Our whole stay there was lovely and would definitely stay there again :)"
