"Beautiful rooms with a view of Edinburgh Castle and other nearly monuments. Clean and comfortable rooms and delicious hot or cold breakfasts. The staff is both friendly and helpful. We were only there one night and didn't get to use the library or frequent the bar. But we want to next time. Set in a safe neighborhood within walking distance of the tram and buses. Great value!"

"Beautiful historic building in a quiet area.The trip driveway transports you from a city setting past a horse field then a beautiful golf course. "What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."
