"Property had beautiful well maintained grounds and was a lovely setting. However this could be enjoyed without staying in the hotel. Hotel breakfast area and bar were lovely and food standard was fine. However room we stayed in was very small and not luxurious for the price paid. No extras and when pulling the twin beds apart the room hadn't been cleaned under the beds. Crumbs and a nut on the floor. "For us this was the perfect place to explore family heritage in a beautiful area of Scotland. We enjoyed hiking on or near the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were always very helpful, our meals and drinks in onsite restaurants were great! We are very positive about this hotel!!!"

"The property felt tired and dated. The carpets were stained, as were the curtains. Everything felt a bit grubby. The sofa bed had pillows and duvets provided in a cupboard but we had to go to reception to collect the covers and sheets to make up ourselves. On the plus side, the accommodation was very spacious, the bathrooms were clean (although no bath mats were provided) and the grounds are absolutely stunning."
