Perfect pitstop for my work trip up island. Picked it because it was cheap and being between towns wouldn’t have meth heads trying to break into my truck. Front desk was awesome!!

We were upgraded to 2 queens . Our room was closer to hiway so did hear traffic noise through the night but our friends stayed a few rooms further away from hiway where you didn’t hear the traffic. Nice having a restaurant right next door.

the look of the hotel may throw you off, hotel check in was a breeze ground level rooms with easy access to your vehicle, we had our dogs so having a door with access to the green space located in the middle of the property was excellent the property is definitely in need of a facelift, but dont let that change you booking this place the beds are comfy, probably one of the best beds i have slept on, the room was cozy and warm shower has hot water and the coffee maker and fridge worked great

While it may not be much to look at from the outside, its a great little place to stay. Very quiet, very clean and friendly staff. Air conditioning worked great and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed there once before, and the experience then was great as well. We will definitely stay there again.

If you have realistic expectations, this is a great stay— it’s an older roadside inn that hasn’t been updated much aesthetically, but it’s clean and the rooms are actually really quiet for being right beside the highway. The Haida Way is a great spot in the morning for a good greasy spoon breakfast on your way back out. Will stay again.

This older looking hotel was impressive inside the rooms . Clean and comfortable for Business . Wifi was strong and it was priced right for being so close to Duncan and Chemainus .will stay there again
