"beautifully restored, very comfortable, just a few rooms and guests. Very quite. Rooms were lovely and well appointed. Just a couple of comments, the curtains were very hard to pull/close and the music system for the restaurant was just under the window of our room. It is portable and could be moved around the corner. "

"Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...

"In general, the condition of the room was pretty poor. The bathroom had a lot of different problems and needs be fully reconditioned. The bath/shower was dirty and difficult to use without spraying water everywhere. The room has an alarm or detector that blinks brightly at night and the bulbs for lights over the paintings flicker even when power is turned off requiring a sleeping mask. "

Half those nights there were large concerts in the Stradun (including on New Years Eve), but with the windows closed we slept through the noise. "Lots of steps to reach the property. Two floors up from the first level. Room and bathroom was clean. However, there is a strong pungent smell in the bedroom and sulpher smell in Bathroom. Almost unbearable. Very close to all activities. Few steps from the harbor. "
