The pool area was a welcome respite from the heat and was uncrowded, clean and well maintained. We wished there had been bar service at the pool but we saved by picking up our own beer at the market. We had no hot water during our stay; the management had repair people coming and we understand that things break sometimes - but...

"Very clean and comfortable apartments with a shared rooftop pool. 5-10 minute walk to a beach. An Uber into the old town cost about 10 Euros and the restaurants along the road to sunset beach were about a 15 minute walk away. The host was very helpful and there to greet us on arrival. He also recommended a local boat company and explained where the bus stops and shops etc were located. Would be more than happy to stay there again…."

"Was a great stay!! The beach and restaurant down there were first class. The pool area was dominated by children. Not my cup of tea, so didn't spend much time there. "
"The hotel is beautiful. Our room was very nice, the area where you have breakfast for me was the high point of the day with great service and great buffet, the pool and gym are very nice, the indoor spa and pool are very nice - the bathroom off indoor pool is a bit shabby and was leaking.
The lady that organised the excursions was not great. She wanted us to go on a tuk tuk tour when there was a forecast for severe storm. Not great. I would say some staff lovely, some not as amazing as rest of Croatian hotels. The greek restaurant was lovely and service good. The bar food was good. It would be nice to have a hotel shop with affordable prices so not just designer. Overall such a lovely hotel "

"We loved our stay this past July. We took advantage of the morning breakfast buffet and enjoyed dining at Taj Mahal. The hotel is not very close to the Old City the way there is walkable and the views during the walk are very pleasant. The hotel amenities were very nice and so were the front desk. They were very helpful when we needed to store our luggage on our check-out day.

"The property was located in an excellent area and bus no.6 is cross the street to take you to old town. The bus tickets could be purchased in the hotel and it was really easy and convenient to access the old town without a car.
The dining options are excellent, breakfast was included and had excellent choices and options. Really impressed with the whole experience at Valamar Lacroma Hotel. We also had access to the beach in the sister hotel President and the service and staff was excellent throughout the property. Highly recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10 ratings."
