"This is a fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of Venice, close to all the major attractions yet quiet and exclusive. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the service was outstanding. Our room had a balcony that had a wonderful view of Venice. The staff goes out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. This is a very special hotel--our stay was unforgettable. Perfect for a romantic holiday."

LOCATION
It is within walking distance to the Grand Canal; to the Venezia Sta Lucia train station; to Piazzale Roma where the water bus stations are and where there’s a couple grocery stores; to a few restaurants and bars; to the bus terminal so we didn’t have to cross huge bridges with our luggages when we arrived and left, etc. Just perfect...

"Great hotel! Staff super nice and friendly. Loved the continental breakfast that was included in stay. Fantastic location. Everything you need is in the square outside. Public Water boat (ACTV) was less than 5 minutes walk. Tickets sold at the shop close by to hotel. Supermarket just nearby the gelateria. Walk to train station about 17 minutes. We love hotel for the air conditioning that was also in the lobby. Nice and cool. We will definitely come back and stay here when we come back to...

"La Calcina is the perfect place to stay in Venice. The location is perfect, you can walk to the main places of interest. Everywhere else is accessible from the water bus stop nearby.
Our room was amazing, with fabulous views. The only negative was the variable temperature of the shower.
Samuel, Lorella and all the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly.
All the waiting staff were also very friendly and welcoming."
