"This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. "Its at a great location with awesome views of the bay and marina but you have to drive a little ways to get to a store but there are couple good restaurants in the marina. The restaurant at the motel is not one of them and we considered it less than average after having dinner there. Staff is very friendly and helpful and its much easier to park then if you go to San Fransisco and safer then SF."

"The folks at Sens Hotel were so helpful and kind. I canceled one room on Expedia 48 hours before, but it didn't show up as canceled for Hotel Sens', or on Expedia for that matter. Sens canceled the room on their end, then Expedia showed the upcoming refund. The folks at Sens were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. The hotel is right in the middle of North Berkeley's foodie row."

"The lawn before the hotel is terrible and dry, like a desert area! Ugly! Like a building in a poor area! But the room is excellent!"

"Our stay was pleasant overall, but we were disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. We asked for slippers, a razor, shaving cream, and cotton swabs, but the staff told us they had none available. We were especially surprised that even slippers were unavailable. There was also no complimentary drinking water in the room upon arrival. We requested water, and they kindly brought us some afterward. We hope the hotel will improve the availability of these basic guest amenities in the future."

"Excellent front desk, house cleaning and restaurant services. Everyone was very polite, helpful, efficient and friendly. We will definitely return for our next stay whenever we are planning to visit the Bay Area in the future. Hallway, elevators and rooms are always fresh and kept clean."

"Beautiful setting, clean, nice amenities. Not very accessible at all for those with small children or with disabilities. Lack of clear signage or wayfinding, lack of ramps with stairs, and a very steep entry. Restaurants seemed nice, wish there were more vegan options."

"This stay represented adding an additional day to an existing 3 night stay. Everything was handled smoothly. I was able to stay in the same room I had already spent the previous 3 days. Staff was friendly. The property was well kept up. Plenty of choices in the neighborhood for shopping and dining."
