We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. "Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5)."

The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. "The room was very basic. It was disappointing that the bathroom facilities weren’t self-contained, and the shower is essentially right next to the bed. Another issue was the parking. It costs £5 per night if you book through a third party like Expedia, which you have to pay on arrival, whereas it’s free if you book directly through Ibis. The difference isn’t very clear and feels a bit inconsistent. The noise from other guests early in the morning also disturbed my sleep, which didn’t help the...

"We stayed as part of a large group attending a wedding nearby. The hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and well equipped as you expect. But what made our stay were the staff - they were so wonderful. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and well organised."
