"Relatively a new facility, with a good location over-looking the river, very close to the train station, easy access to city center by Uber/taxi, tram, or by walking. Gym has good equipment, but limited. Staff very helpful. Restaurant is good, and also able to get refreshments, snacks etc for your room. AC was not as effective as needed for 100 degree heat wave. Rooms are a good size for EU standards with a good bathroom and closet space. Two small elevators, with one not working for 5 days was...

"The hotel staff were excellent and nothing was a bother. Happy to switch from French to English depending on the guest language skills. Great secure parking. The light rail passes the hotel front door so leave your car and explore Bordeaux by light rail."

"Visiting Bordeaux for the first time, our host made us feel welcome and provided an excellent overview of the town, places to see, a few (very excellent) food recommendations and was available the whole stay to answer questions. Our room was perfectly prepared with everything we needed. The location made for easy walking to markets/attractions and also the tram. We had a fabulous time thanks to George’s fine hospitality."

"Check in was a mess - they send you emails in French with a door code at the top which is easily missed. Without it, good luck trying to get into the building. Shower was awful - no pressure and very little water coming out, stuck at around 36 degrees max. Doesn’t seem to have functioning air con even though there is a thermostat in the room. You’re expected to take the rubbish out at the end of the stay. "
