The property was situated within walking distance of the venue for my event, a walk along the side of the canal. Car parking was at most 200 metres from the hotel. The room was well presented, with a good view of the canal, and with a good bathroom. I ate lunch in the restaurant, and was introduced to a delicious local speciality based around Mackerel. Breakfast was at t convenient time, and my departure was easy and pleasant. I would be delighted to return for a longer stay.

Confusing Check in

Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. I was not able to find the reception desk so I walked through the hallway with no luck. When I found that it was inside the restaurant, I asked one of the employee about parking our car and she looked away from me. I assume that she wasn't the employee that I needed in the first place. It was quite confusing at the beginning.

Süßes Hotel direkt am Kanal und im Stadtkern, trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Frühstück ist Standard, leider sind die Eier kalt und die frische Wurst-/Käseauswahl sehr dürftig. Parkmöglichkeit ca. 400 mtr. auf einem großen öffentlichen Parkplatz, dieser ist kostenfrei.

Wij hadden de slechtste kamer. Ramen va. de grond tot op een hoogte van 90 cm. Nauwelijks daglicht en de verlichting was heel matig. Vreselijke trap naar de hoogste verdieping met je bagage. Veel lawaai van het terras. Ramen moesten open blijven omdat er in deze zolderkamer geen enkele mechanische ventilatie was. Ontbijt “Holland op zijn smalst”. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.
