"Room was small for two people but good for a short stay. Restaurant terrasse has good wine. Area is nice and quiet. Continental breakfast buffet that was included in the stay was excellent with a lot of varieties of food."

"Surprisingly quiet despite being on the main road. The room was a decent size; shower-over bath but it worked. Unfortunately we were without hot water for 2/4 days, a problem that only affected some of the rooms but we were told they were working on it. The staff were helpful and professional, staff in the restaurant were very efficient; cannot fault them. If you eat a full range of food you’ll be OK but the choice for vegans was super-limited. "The staff at this hotel were top notch! So friendly and helpful. We arrived early from our international flight and our luggage was held so we could begin exploring. Loved the fact we had access to a supply room to retrieve extra towels, toilet paper, etc at our convenience. Centrally located to Old Town and train station. Would stay again!!! The Italian restaurant across the street has the best pizza too!!!"

"Truly delightful stay at the Platz Hotel. It’s a beautiful and majestic showcasing some Bavarian designs with some modern accents. It’s centrally located in Old Town where it’s within walking distance to major attractions and transit lines. My room was spacious, clean, and had different amenities. "Very nice hotel to stay at, clean the staff was helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the terrace for an evening drink. I have not stayed in a European hotel so I'm not sure if this is the standard however I disliked there was no AC, fridge, and the bed was hard. Overall great experience though!"

"A great place to stay! Location was perfect for us. Staff was amazing both at the front desk and bar. Loved the rich history of the hotel and wished I could learn the stories and history of the travelers that had passed through this oldest hotel in Munich but loved the mini museum off the staircase.
