"Loud bar underneath bedroom, nothing but only liquid body & shampoo in the bathroom. No hair drier no room slippers on rundown dirty carpet in the room. Cleanness of the hotel much worse than expected. Only decent choice of breakfast was English breakfast fast : 1 dry bacon, 1 sausage, 1 small mushroom, 1 half piece of small tomato ( We didn’t order the black pudding though) & a half piece of toast : poor. "

"Budget hotel but as good as you need it to be. Clean, helpful staff, good parking. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on breakfast. The street the hotel is on is run down however, and Whitley Bay town centre has its fair share of homelessness, troubled youths and failed businesses. The sea front area is lovely though."

"Room was clean although decor was tired and in need of a refresh. We weren't informed at check in that we would be charged to use the spa facilities so unexpected cost of £7.00 each per day. Only 2 small pillows on bed, asked at reception for additional pillows and was handed them from the reception desk to take to room whilst trying to carry luggage. Not ideal. We didn't book for breakfast or eat in the hotel so I can't comment."

"The room was a good size but smelled badly. We opened the windows which did clear it eventually. Found someone else's deodorant on the floor under the desk. The staff are very nice. Car park is free and always had spaces. Great location for the sea front. We had hreakfast off-site so can't comment on that. "

"The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. They took this on board and catered for all of us. Dinner was a delight. We stayed here last year when...

"We stay on a regular basis. Free car park. The beds are rock hard so request a mattress topper. Excellent restaurant and a very easy walk into Jesmond very helpful staff"
