"The location is excellent, and the breakfast is first class. It's also very convenient for transport, with the Eurostar terminal just a 3-minute walk away. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We booked a half-board package expecting a buffet-style dinner. Instead, we were given a €50 per person (€100 for the two of us) allowance to spend on food and drinks from the à la carte menu. If your bill exceeds €100, you pay the difference, but if you spend less, the remaining balance isn't refunded. This felt a little awkward on the first evening, but we soon got used to it. The food was generally good. The only disappointment was one evening when my steak was overcooked and burnt instead of being well done. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return."

Breakfast was expensive, though (30 euros per person!), so we opted to stock up on yogurt, fruits, and OJ from the train station's Carrefour Express, just down the block. Many restaurants, souvenir shops, chocolate shops, etc. nearby."
